Overview
Bogazici University is available as an exchange program for Columbia students offered during the fall, spring, and academic year. Students live in dormitories on campus with other Turkish students.
Academic Program
Bogazici University, one of the most prominent universities in Turkey, is located on the east side of Istanbul. This program is an exchange between Columbia and Bogaziçi Universities. The university has four faculties: engineering, arts and sciences, economics and administrative sciences, and education. Currently there are over 900 faculty and close to 11,000 students. On this exchange program students have an excellent opportunity to experience living in Turkey and studying alongside Turkish students.
Program Features
Students on the Bogazici program live in dormitories on campus with other Turkish students.
The university has a wide variety of student clubs in which exchange students can participate including the Mithat Film Center, state of the art sports complexes, and a variety of student run clubs and organizations.
All students should consult the OGP eligibility page to ensure that they meet all specific academic requirements for each school (CC, GS, SEAS) to study abroad.
