Summer Clearance is April 15^th

For those of you planning to study abroad this coming summer for credit, most of the Columbia program applications are now closed. If you are interested in the Columbia program in Kyoto, Japan, the application is still open until April 1. Please visit: Summer Program in Advanced and Classical Japanese.

For non-Columbia run programs, the clearance deadline is April 15^th. Please visit out summer webpage to learn about approved summer programs or how to petition the program of your choice. All questions about non-Columbia run summer programs should be directed to Dean Scott Carpenter at sc2764@columbia.edu. He has office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-4pm. All students attending a summer program for credit must go through a clearance process in which Dean Carpenter reviews your academic and disciplinary background here at Columbia. Please make sure to complete the clearance process by April 15^th.

Individual program application deadlines may be before or after April 15^th. Consult the specific website of your preferred program for the relevant application deadline information.
