Overview - KCJS Summer Programs in Modern and Classical Japanese
The six or eight-week KCJS Summer Programs in Modern and Classical Japanese offers intensive training in modern and classical Japanese for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students who have completed at least one year, two years or three years of Japanese or the equivalent. You will be able to enroll in small classes, participate in excursions and cultural activities as well as choose from a variety of housing options.
The Modern Japanese Program runs from late-May to late-July. The Classical Japanese Program runs from early-June to late-July.
Open to undergraduates and graduate students in good academic standing. Recent graduates may also apply.
For Second Year Japanese: must have completed one year of college-level Japanese or the equivalent.
- For Third Year Japanese: must have completed two years of college-level Japanese or the equivalent.
