Summer Study with an Approved Program - Middle East and North Africa

Morocco
SIT Arabic Language and Community Services
Program offers courses in intensive modern standard Arabic (Fus'ha) and an introduction to Moroccan culture and Moroccan Arabic (Darija) through cultural and linguistic immersion.

Arabic Language and North African Studies Summer Program
This program is sponsored by Binghamton University (SUNY) at Al-Akhawayn University in Ifrane. Offers courses in Arabic language at all levels, as well as colloquial and regional courses. Runs from 4-8 weeks at various start dates.

Israel
Yiddish Summer Program at Tel Aviv University
he program offers intensive Yiddish instruction at five levels. Language instruction will be supplemented by a rich afternoon academic and cultural program of lectures, conversation classes, music workshops, and tours, and by evening cultural and social events.

University of Haifa/Department of Overseas Studies
Offers Hebrew language courses at all levels.

Hebrew University Summer Arabic Session
Offers Hebrew and Arabic language courses at all levels.
