Program Description:
Applicants must have completed at least one full year of university and currently be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree program at a partner college or university. Current Columbia exchange partners include:

**If you do not have the explicit endorsement of one of the above listed universities, the ONLY way to study at Columbia for a semester or year is through the Visiting Student Program.**

Application Requirements

All application materials are available within this online application. The forms required include:
  • Completed application questionnaire
  • Statement of good standing from your dean or academic advisor
  • Official transcript
  • Recommendation letter
  • TOEFL score*
*To be considered for admission to Columbia, you must be comfortable with rapid and idiomatic spoken English.  If your native language is not English and your primary language of instruction has not been in English for at least five years, you are required to submit a Test of English as  Foreign Language (TOEFL) score. A minimum score of 600 (paper based) or 100 (new internet based test) is necessary for admission to Columbia. A minimum score of 7.0 on the IELTS is also acceptable.
