Program Description:
Applicants must have completed at least one full year of university and currently be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree program at a partner college or university.  You may only apply to our Incoming Exchange program if your university is a partner institution and provides us with an explicit endorsement / nomination.

Application Requirements

All application materials are available within this online application. The forms required include:
  • UGE Undergrad Exchange Application
  • English Proficiency Test*
  • One (1) Recommendation Letter
  • Official Transcript
  • Statement of Good Standing
*To be considered for admission to Columbia, you must be comfortable with rapid and idiomatic spoken English.  If your native language is not English and your primary language of instruction has not been in English for at least five years, you are required to submit a Test of English as  Foreign Language (TOEFL) score. A minimum score of 105 (internet-based test) is necessary for admission to Columbia. A minimum score of 7.5 on the IELTS is also acceptable.
